Survival coalition members can comment on the draft statewide community integrated employment (CIE)stakeholder input session on Wednesday, February 27, 2019, either in person or by submitting email comments.
A joint plan to improve CIE outcomes in Wisconsin has been drafted in a collaborative effort between the Department of Workforce Development-Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR), the Department of Health Services (DHS), and the Department of Public Instruction (DPI).
The joint plan was drafted in response to 2017 Wisconsin Act 178, which requires DVR, DHS, and DPI to collaborate, with the input of stakeholders, to establish and share performance improvement targets to ensure that programs, policies, and procedures statewide support CIE outcomes for youth and adults with disabilities in Wisconsin.
We hope you are able to join us for the upcoming input session, where we will share our first draft of this interagency plan. More information about the session and the plan can be found on the CIE Plan website. If you are unable to attend the stakeholder input session, comments can be emailed to DVRCIEPublicComm@dwd.wisconsin.gov February 27, 2019. READ Survival Comments
